the vocabulary! the word "truth" literally makes me sick! let me give you a quick behind the scene. first to recap and to inform newer readers to this board, I am not nor I have never nor will ever be a witness. I was raised around it not in it. I have family members and many friends trapped in this religion. they swear up and down that they are the only true religion. Many of them have never had a single day of college. mostif not all will probably never will. now to my point. im sick of hearing of people who have left the religion and then others saying that since they have left the "truth" they have no hope to live on paradise earth for ever. one friend who was a former witness stopped going to meetings. they stopped going to meetings and people said that he's only drinking because he left the truth. THE TRUTH THE TRUTH BLA BLAH BLAH F the truth! he still reads the bible, but not the bible of the jw witnesses. he reads a varity. he said to get a wider picture of what he's missed of all the years in a bubble of controled by the wts. I don't know of anyword that irritates me more its the one mentioned above. I am still constantly praying for more of my family and friends to burst their bubble and escape the lies of the 'truth'. okay im done venting now.

Society to start laminating paper backed publications
by Lady Zombie inat the wednesday night ministry school meeting, a letter from the society was read announcing that wtbts paperbacked publications will begin to be laminated.
according to the letter, this "will save approximately 2 million dollars per year," "lengthen the life of the publications," and "increase the attractiveness" of the publications.. so there's that.. .
also, will someone please explain to me why 85% of the congregation started smiling and nodding at this.. i sometimes think that headquarters could send the congregations boxes of turds and the jws would act like it was the best thing ever..

its not that I don't mind my own business, by all means I do. I love my friends to death I just hate seeing them in the watchtower trap. I can care less if they are sleeping together that's what they want. I just was looking for a way by using the society's own words to get the two out of the cult practice.

aside from the invisible return of jesus, this is the most stupid invisible shit I have ever heard. what in the world are they teaching and why? geez no wonder they don't want people to further their education._anyone with a sound mind would see that this is all a bogus lie. when I think of invisible I think of magic and stuff like that. I thought jw's aren't supposed to touch on that. I wish there was a way to wake these people up. if it is invisible no one can see it. I told that to my friend and what they said was we cannot see the oxygen but we know its here. we can't see jesus we know he's here. then I said okay. then I asked what the bible meant about every eye will see jesus when he returns. he said that's not literal and again said he's been here since 1914. that date is going to make me suicidal!

I asked why and they said I can't ....I mean I don't want to. So I need a quote from the wt, I know there is one or two that does show that prohibits jw from readin material out side the org. can someone help me with it? thanks

I almost got suckered in. then God slapped me in the face and told me to wake up. everyone is nice too nice. they get all lovey dove. find out who you are with. who you study with. when I told them I do my own study they had the nerve to ask me : don't you want to be saved at armagedon that's just around the corner. I've had that youth book in my hands for a while now. I would scan it in but I don't have access to a scanner. I appologize to the individual who asked for a scan a week or two. I've been working on trying to find a scanner without being accused ofc being an apostate. why does that sound icky. friend of mine has a kid and calls it a prostate. gotta laugh every time I hear that. I sat once at a kindom hall and the elder asked questions and she raised her hand to answer. I cannot remember the question but it was regarding types of material to stay clean from. in a cutr little kids voice she said a prostate material because its dirty. cute but sad. sad that she is forced to sit in and hear talks about prostate material. lol I hope she eventually finds her way from that filth. ps sorry if it seems like I hi jacked the thread I didn't mean to. I just had a story and it kinda fit.
